                           PROGRAM GOALS

•To promote self change to improve the lives of others

•To provide various training and workshops

•To increase the availability of employment opportunities

•To educate participants to fill the employment gap

•To make communities, schools, and prisons safer and less troublesome

•To reduce crime in the community, schools, and prisons

•To bring harmony in the community and family unit

To build and rebuild productive citizens through 3 major entities:

Super Solution will focus on servicing the community because the community is where the “core” or the “nucleus” of the gang initiation, gang activity, and gang violence takes place.

Based on this point, Super Solution plans to base our own comprehensive programs in the community which will consist of:

A) workshops                                        F) employment opportunities

B) training sessions                               G) mentoring

C) vocational skills                                 H) the arts/science/technology

D) social skills                                       I) housing

E) mediation/conflict resolution               J) etc.

2.  The Community

1.  The School System

Implementing in the Baltimore City and Baltimore County Schools, Super Solution’s plan is to collaborate with school administrators and personnel to incorporate 45 minutes to 1 hour curriculum for 3 days a week which will teach about:

  a) Bullying in conjunction with Peer Pressure

  b) Prevention and Intervention of Gangs and Potential Gang Members

  c) Workshops, Assemblies, Performances, etc.

3.  The Prison System

Gangs, gang activity, and gang violence continues to heavily populate the prison system.  This is the reason Super Solution plans to implement integral services such as:

  • Resolve disputes and negative situations

  • Bring harmony to gangs by bringing gangs together

  • Arrange for community leaders to speak to inmates about gangs

  • Assist with creating a respectful atmosphere with prison staff and each other

  • Become mediators by connecting gang member inmates with their loved ones

  • Connect with resources for employment and housing placement prior to release

  • Interact with the media so the positive side of prison vs. gangs can be reflected

  • Reach out for outside guest to discuss bullying, self-esteem, anger and stress management

  • Contact transitional houses for those who need housing upon release

  • Create transportation for “loved ones” of program participants families who can’t afford to visit

SUPER SOLUTION PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE SERVICES TO BOTH DETENTION CENTERS AND THE PRISON SYSTEM
